Within the travel industry, there’s no single platform that handles everything—from collecting payments to booking travel to keeping you informed—so we rely on several secure platforms, each handling a different piece of the puzzle.
Our travel agent toolbox includes:
Travefy – for collecting payment authorization forms, creating itineraries, and running our Trip Plans app
Square – for invoicing and payment processing
Constant Contact – for sending email updates
Third-party booking systems – for reserving travel (each cruise line and airline has its own system)
Our host agency’s platform – for processing commissions and supporting our backend operations
Each of these platforms is designed for a specific function and adheres to relevant industry security standards, including PCI compliance for handling payment data. Your information is encrypted during transmission and is never stored in ways that would put it at risk.
For example, CVC numbers (the 3-digit code on your credit card) are automatically purged after about 30 days. So if it’s been a while since you submitted a form, we may ask you to fill it out again—not to inconvenience you, but because your security is more important than long-term storage of sensitive information.
We know it can feel repetitive to provide similar info more than once, but that’s the trade-off for using secure, specialized systems that don’t always integrate. We’re always working to streamline things, but protecting your data will always come first.
