👥 Community & Partner Discounts

  • Museums for All: Free admission for up to five people with a valid SNAP, EBT, or WIC card. Available onsite only.

  • Library Museum Passes: Free passes available through the Seattle Public Library and King County Library systems. Each pass admits up to two people and must be reserved online.

  • Bank of America “Museums on Us”: Free admission for cardholders on the first full weekend of each month.

  • Blue Star Museums: Free admission for active-duty military personnel and their families from Armed Forces Day in May through Labor Day in September.

  • TeenTix: Teens aged 13–19 can access $5 day-of tickets with a TeenTix pass.

  • Gold & FLASH Cards: Seniors (60+) and adults with disabilities can receive discounts through Seattle’s Gold and FLASH card programs.

🎓 Student & Educator Discounts

  • Student Admission: Students with valid ID can purchase tickets at a reduced rate.

  • Educators: Request a free educator ticket by emailing educatorprograms@seattleartmuseum.org with your preferred date and location. Please provide one to two weeks' advance notice.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Membership Discounts

SAM offers discounted memberships for various groups:

  • Students: $45/year with current student ID.

  • Seniors (65+): $75/year with proof of age.

  • Educators: 15% off membership at the Individual through Family levels with proof of current employment.

  • Military Personnel: 15% off memberships at the Individual through Patron levels with active duty military ID.

  • UW and WSU Alumni: 15% off new memberships at the Individual through Patron levels with current alumni ID card.

👨‍👩‍👧 Group Discounts

Groups of 10 or more can receive reduced admission rates. Guided tours are available for an additional fee and must be requested at least three weeks in advance.
