Will your flight be late?

It’s a busy week here at Map & Key as people head to Hawaii for our retreat at Kahala Resort. With the TSA pay freeze happening, there are flight delays all over the country. Here’s a good way to get a look at how it may impact your travel.

Go to www.flightaware.com and put your flight number into the search bar. It will show you how that flight went today.

This is what mine looks like.

It looks like today that specific flight went well. But we can also see an alert on the top right for Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) as a whole - Departure Delays and Arrival Delays.

I’ll be checking this the day prior to flight, to have the most up to date information. If I wasn’t flying direct, I’d be checking all of my connecting airports.
